Moon Girl

I was tasked earlier this week by the guys over at South Fellini (aka, the dudes I worked with on Carnivale de Robotique) to do a pin-up page for one of their recent comics, Moon Girl.

Robotique Issue 4

Carnivale de Robotique's 4th and final issue just got released this week.

Go here, read it, and enjoy.

Not only that, but the Eli-copter shirts have been printed, will available at the South Fellini art show next month.

Sullivan's Sluggers

Sullivan's Sluggers is a new graphic novel put out by Image Comics. Its sort of like Evil Dead meets The Warriors.
Very gory, and extremely humorous, just how I like it.
What I have up there is a work in progress (I was considering it a finish as of a few moments ago), seeing how now I have a bit more time to work on it before the end of the month.

Carnivale de Robotique's final issue just got wrapped up this last Thursday.
Now onto other things.

Issue #3 Completed

Completed as of around 9:30pm.
Now to triple check the hell out of these, sit back, do some personal pieces for galleries until the 4th (and final) script hits me.

First Decade Post

Happy 2010 everyone!

The Carnivale de Robotique comic I worked on has apparently sold quite well. The writers (Johnny Zito & Tony Trov) sold all of their copies they had, and a few friends of mine have already picked up a few (Thanks to everyone who did! I'll sign those whenever I get the chance!)


And getting to see it on a shelf at Midtown Comics in NYC was pretty awesome.

Anyways, I'm posting two pieces (that transform to into one collective piece) that I've neglected to post here back when I made them. They were apart of a PSA article assignment, but at the time, I wasn't too happy with them. (I think it was because I was so burnt out from my Senior Thesis) but after looking at them again after all these months, I think theres a bit of humor to them to be found. I might put these on my webpage under the "doodles" section regardless.


(Granted, theres probably a few things off/wrong here, but I think the only thing I would change is the background colors)


(I had chosen to use the SEPTA buses from the 1950s-60s because I love the vehicle designs from that era, and the ones today look so ugly and beat up. And, yes, those are PBR cans flying all over the place.)

Indie Comic Week

Well, the book itself is now printed, and waiting distribution to fine comic shops that are participating in Indie Comic Week, which is NEXT WEEK! Theres even a little blurb they wrote up about it on their blog!

Beep Beep Boop *zrrrrrrt*

So as many of you might know, I recently got offered two jobs: a one-shot 22 page comic, and another short graphic novel (I think its somewheres about 80 pages), both about robots.
I just recently finished up my last freelance job with Columbia University doing page layouts and making graphs, and am now working on the one-shot, seeing as how I don't want the robot characters to trickle into each other while working on the two at the same time. (Mixing two people's creations together sometimes never works out for at least one party involved.)

Anyways, I'd figure some quick sketches of the cast of the robot carnival characters might tie you guys over for a bit!
